My name is LaToya Oates my major is Early Childhood and Elementary Education. This is my fourth year at University of Alabama at Birmingham. I am from Mobile, AL and I have one sister and two nephews. My hobbies are shopping and cooking.
I think that computers are essential in a classroom setting. As a future teacher I tend to use computers because children need the experience, since everything seems to be electronic now. As a student at UAB computers has help me tremendously. Computers are essential for resources and keeping up with assignments and communicating with fellow peers and professors.
I am now taking EDT 300 and I intend to learn how to produce professional letters in the near future. I also hope to gain the ability to produce lesson plans because as a future teacher I need the experience. Finally, I hope to learn how to navigate through Microsoft adequately.
